“ONE Great Community Salutes Patti rowe
“ONE Great Community Salutes” is a new Chamber program designed to recognize people who do positive things to improve the quality of life in our community.
The most recent recipient of the ONE Great Community Salute is Patti Rowe, a customer service representative from Wal-Mart in Richmond.
Patti has worked at Wal-Mart since 2002. Wal-Mart has three basic beliefs that were handed down by Sam Walton himself. They involve striving for excellence, respect for the individual and exceeding customer expectations. Patti is recognized for all three by her supervisors and her customers.
Patti is well-known for taking the time to care for each individual customer in an efficient manner and gives each situation her full attention. Customer service requires dealing with difficult situations at times, and Patti always approaches her work, her coworkers and her customers with a smile and pleasant attitude.
Regular customers ask for her when she’s away from her post and it was a customer who nominated her for this honor. It’s because of her positive outlook and attitude of service that Patti Rowe is being honored with the Chamber of Commerce ONE Great Community Salute! The Chamber plans to select an award recipient monthly and will be honoring the recipients in different ways throughout the month. The Chamber is asking for nominations from the community.
